This year the Disability Ministry Education Unit will be sending out information packages regularly on how faith communities can become more accessible and inclusive.
Each package will include a poster and a resource page with relevant websites. It is hoped that the poster will be displayed within your building and provides useful links to more resources on the particular topic.
Feedback is welcomed on how useful these resources are, and any suggestions for how this can be improved and/or any topics you would like to see covered. Please contact The Reverend Vicki Terrell or Cherryl Thompson
The first package contains:
- 5 ways of being accessible
- 5 ways of being inclusive
- Hearing Hospitality
- Brain Awareness
- Autism Awareness.
